Facilities at Meadow House Care Home

All residents bedrooms are comfortable and equipped with full range of furnishings and fittings with nurse call systems, TV, telephone point, and en-suite personal washing facilities. Most bedrooms have en-suite toilet facility and good number of bedrooms with en suite shower/bath. Residents are encouraged to bring their personal items to help create more familiar surroundings.

All bedrooms have a lockable door and a lockable facility for valuables.

Three bright lounges, with sunny southerly aspect, offer relaxed environment in which to watch television, listen to music or simply sit quietly.

There are walk-in showers and bathrooms fitted with hoists. We also offer bathing/shower facilities as Day Care Services.

Activity room serves as a focus for creative and sensory activities and there is a library of books with large print edition.

Two stair lifts provide access to first floor.

The Home is compliant with fire and safety regulations with regular visits and fires safety training from fire officer. Smoke detectors are installed throughout the home.

The Home provides laundry facilities for personal clothing and bed linen. Our dining room is a pleasant setting offering a varied menu of freshly prepared home cooked food and special dietary needs. Breakfast is brought and served in your own room.

Garden is well tended with a raised fishpond and outside seating. Interested residents are welcome to help with its maintenance.
